Intentions for ‘22/Summer of ‘20

Man, I can’t believe it’s already 2022. Time sure does fly when you’re living in a constant state of impending doom having fun.

I’m not really one to set New Years resolutions- I believe you can do that anytime, not just on the 1st of January- but I do have some intentions for the new year:

-bring my visions to life, create my art

-travel

- live & love openly and freely

-practice boundaries and discernment- if it’s not a HELL YES it’s a HELL NO

-and most importantly FBGM

I think this will be a great year! I feel it.

In an effort to follow my intentions of being more open & sharing my art- especially things I create with my talented a$$ friends- I want to share some photos.

I’m throwing it back to the Summer of 2020 (I know, I know- I’m late af). One of my best friends, and absolute favorite photographers, Austin (@intrntnl) and I went to Room Service where I found this vintage leopard print slip dress. It was giving Studio 54, or like, 70’s coke dealer’s wife. I effing loooove both leopard print & slip dresses, so needless to say le dress and a few other vintage knick knacks came home with me. We went back to my place- drank a bottle of red wine or two- threw on some Lana- and this was the outcome.

These photos capture the energy of that summer- a bit chaotic and dark, yet still beautiful. I didn’t share these photos at the time, but I believe they deserve to see the light.

The corset~

Okay- more from that night. I had just gotten this corset from Savage X Fenty that I wanted to shoot in as well. Y’all- Rhianna really snapped when she made this lingerie line. It’s such good quality and sexy af. Get you some if you haven’t already. Between the oui’d, wine, and LDR I was def channeling my inner burlesque showgirl in these lol~
